| Minutes of Meeting | Special purpose strategic committee meeting was arranged on 18th December at Rotarian Darvekar's house to discuss the Global Grant project and school related activities for our Long-Term plan. The Global Grant project is discussed in detail. Theme of the project is decided to be "water conservation and rainwater harvesting for a village in Pune district ". Towns in Rajgarh Taluka are identified as Arvi, Kalyan and Ranze for collecting rainwater harvesting and putting up pipeline to release the water in borewells nearby. This should bear fruits in next 3 to 5 years for water table rising and the self-sufficiency for the villages in future. The details of the project were discussed and further details on estimates and other project report are awaited. Thanks to the host Rotarian Sudheer Darvekar for hosting this meeting. |
