a. Minutes of previous BoD were read out and confirmed.
b. Abhay Devare informed that the Trust’s balance sheet has been uploaded on the Income Tax site as required and the club’s balance sheet for the past two years will be ready by 31st December 2024 as agreed by persons concerned from previous board.
c. For change report of the trust, affidavit by the trustees for the past three years is now required as per the procedure and Abhay Devare will get it done.
d. Follow up of finalizing amendments to Trust Deed is required and to be finalized by 31st December 2024. A committee of 7 members is formed for the same includes Abhay D, Nagesh, Amey, Patankar, Milind, Jitendra and Siddharth.
e. Regarding the communication with Educate to Elevate trust on payment for Robotex project, Abhay Devare mentioned that required documents are not yet received. Milind B. read out the latest communication from Payal from the trust with Abhay D. for the information of all members. It was agreed that President Abhay will meet the person concerned from Educate to Elevate trust and only after receiving the documents, the payment will be released. Abhay D. also informed the board that the CSR front end Deepak Mahajan is not responding to his messages as expected and not commented on the emails. He said that Deepak’s signature will be required for payment to which board members present, agreed.
f. Abhay D. informed that the work at Cantonment Hospital is 98% completed. Balance payment to the vendor will be released after a visit to the hospital for checking the work done.
g. Abhay D. informed that he has spoken with Alka Deshpande to be the Literacy Chairperson and BoD agreed. Under New Education Policy, awareness programs are to be held for school teachers on New Education Policy, Awareness on Finance, Stress Mgt., Digital Security and Cyber Security etc. Also, a study app. For 10th std. SSC students is to be installed on students’ mobile for Rs. 65/- each. (35/- by club, 20/- by school, 10/- by student). We need to identify schools for the same.
h. We need to find donors and beneficiaries for bicycles and beneficiaries for cataract surgery. At MIT school, Interact club installation to be done for which we have received charter.
i. Project on Anaemia eradication in association is ongoing with Bharat Vikas Parishad from CSR funds by Vitesco Technologies.
j. Medical camp for elderly and women will be held at Bramhanoli village by Anita Pandit and FPA on 8th
and 21st December 2024, with CSR finds by Vitesco Technologies.
k. Asmita Project: A kit is being given by district for Rs. 39000/- which includes laptop, projector etc. for Mental Health and security for girls in the age group of 15-25 years. Club will buy one kit and show the videos etc. in various schools and colleges. This will be an ongoing project.
l. A program on Swatantryaveer Savarkar will be done by the club on 28th February 2025. A meeting will be called to invite interested members to participate and design the program.
m. Global Grant project for rooftop rainwater harvesting and waterless toilets is being evaluated.
n. Rotaract Club of Modern College had asked for cash Rs. 5000/- for some projects but President Abhay has refused for any cash payment and without knowing exact utilization of the same.
