Minutes of previous BoD were read out and confirmed. b. President Abhay Devare brought up the status of Robotex project through Educate to Elevate Trust and payment status. For this project, CSR funds are given by WNS. He informed the BoD that the MoU for the project was signed by PP Amol Kagwade in June2023 and nofundswerereceived then. For theproject executed in 2022-23 / 2023-24, we have received funds only in June 2024(14 lacs) and September 2024 (14 lacs). Educate to Elevate Trust is asking for payment now, however, President Abhay wanted to check the status first hand before making the payment and requested the trustees for a school visit and visit to their office. After a lot of follow-ups, they have said that in the week of 21st October, we can visit. However, they are not willing to let us visit their office for some reasons. It is agreed in BoD meeting that finds will be released after visiting Pune school. This will be done against receiving a letter from the school that the project has been executed to their satisfaction and also from the Mumbai schools where such projects were executed. We will also need a letter from Educate to ElevateTrust confirming the same. c. Abhay Maydeo mentioned there is no end date for the MoU and that there is a clause in the MoU that it will be in force unless terminated. BoD is of the opinion that because the term of a Rotary President is only for a year, he / she cannot sign any MoUbeyond that.It is decided to inform Deepak Mahajan about thesamebecausehe is the single point of contact with WNS and that to inform WNS not to release any further funds till the current payment issue is not resolved.(Acton by: Abhay Devare). d. It is unanimously and explicitly agreed in the BoD that we will not go ahead with the Robotex project further because it is against our decision in previousBoD meetings that we will do projects which are tangible (can be seen and measured) and in Pune district jurisdiction only. 1 e. AbhayDevarementioned that he was informed by Jitender that audited balance sheet of the RCSR Trust had been uploaded on IT sitebut was waiting for confirmation. Milind Biwalkar spoke with Jitender right in the meeting and he immediately sent the documents. Jitender will also upload the same on Charity Commissioner website before 30th November 2024, due date. f. g. Weareyet to receive audited balance sheet for the club account for 2022-23 and 2024-25. President Abhay informed that there is no progress on the committee that wasto beformed asdiscussed in Septemberreview meeting. Milind B. tried calling Avinash Arvikar to know the status of balance sheet for 2022-23 but his phone was switched off. Projects: Abhay Mayadeo and Vijay puranic will lead the project for bicycle donation. For cataract projects, we will do eye check-up at Brahmanoli village when Anita Pandit will hold a medical camp there. For this, district will give total Rs. 3500/ per cataract op. and Rs. 2000/- per bicycle for repairs. Target by district is min. 10 for both. h. Pre-Pets (PEL) is on 10th November 2024 at Lagoona Resort, Lonavala, where our club is host club. Abhay Devareinformed that the District 3131 will decide on 5-7 membersof theclub who will go therea day beforefor preparations. The expenses will be taken care of by the district. i. j. It is also suggested to communicate in our societies about Go Green initiative encouraging people to go for digital bills for MSEB, MNGL etc.and on reduced water consumption. TheKYCwasdoneforTrust’s account in Cosmos Bank and chequeforRs. 25 lacs havebeen deposited in SBI account of Trust. Rs. 12 lacs are balance in Cosmos Bank which will be transferred later. k.
