Name of project Rotary Art Olympiad 2019 Rotary Objective The Rotary Club of Pune Sinhagad Road wishes to organize such drawing and painting competition under the Rotary International Thrust areas of “Literacy” and “Youth Develoment/Empowermrnt”. This competition is planned to provide a boost to children /Artist to create “Art” related to Nature . This will imbibe the culture of community service through their subject of interest. Brief description of project An art competition shall be conducted in various schools and colleges in Maharashtra, Goa and other states & other countries also. Artists from all over India will be allowed to participate in the Rotary Art Olympiad on payment of requisite entrance fees ( no fees will be charged for Physically challenged and economically weak students) . Selected drawings from this Olympiad shall be exhibited nationally and internationally. Explain the benefits of this project and who it will assist The main objectives and benefits of this projects are 1) To promote , share , exchange creative ideas, skills and techniques through exchange of drawings and paintings. 2) To search new avenues and commercial and job related opportunities in the field of Art 3) To give an opportunity to young and talented artists to exhibit their artwork nationally and internationally 4) Every month demonstration of various art techniques at different venues by various known artists. 5) Various artist will travel to overseas to promote Indian art styles & culture overseas.
